My family LOVES this place!!!! If you are in the area, this is a great place to purchase fresh seafood!! The man who helped us was friendly and very helpful. Very good supplier for shrimp. Just waiting on Thursdays to pick up. I had no idea this was the same business. Now, if I can't catch him in Allenhurst. I can stop by here and get what you need.
I was treated very rudely in Kroger when I asked a question about their crab legs in the seafood section! A friend of mine told me about Ken's seafood, and I went there and bought the crab legs that I needed! He was so nice and explained to me what I needed to know! I highly recommend this establishment! Great seafood and customer service!
I have been buying fresh seafood from these guys for 20 years and I have never been disappointed. They carry all sizes of locally harvested Georgia shrimp, have crab legs, oysters, fish, etc. and the quality is consistent. Their prices are the best around, too. Go early. Don't try to cut it close with their closing time. (Sometimes they shut 'er down early.) You will be glad you did.
This is a great example of a family friendly ran business looks like. Great price, good selection, and the ability to call in orders make the shop even better. Recently ordered the Oyster party pack, large jumbo shrimp, tilapia, whiting, and some crabs All the seafood was fresh, especially the oysters. The shop might not look like much, but the customer service is outstanding from the moment you walk thru the door.
Their oysters are top quality and they have a great selection. If oysters are in season, they have the best price and usually more than 1 type. Shrimp are sold at a good price and are also high quality. And if you have questions about anything the staff are very helpful. Order your oysters early to reserve them for busy weekends such as New Years, The Super Bowl, etc. And you'll be glad that you did.
When I am in savannah visiting my in-laws I always buy shrimp and fish at Ken's. The prices are very reasonable and everything ALWAYS fresh. They will always tell you the truth about where their product is from-Georgia/Florida. etc. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs fresh shrimp or other seafood.
